The Ducati MIG-S now has a new look with a new livery thanks to the work – as with all the models of the range – of Aldo Drudi in collaboration with the Ducati Style Centre. But above all it has made a further technological evolution by adopting the high performing Shimano EP8 motor along with updated components.
The well-known Shimano EP8 drive unit is a cornerstone of this category of e-bikes. It features a very light motor (2.6 kg total weight) with an output that can deliver up to 85 Nm of torque with a maximum power assist ratio of 400%; it offers smooth and natural torque output, adjustable through the Shimano Etube Project App from the rider’s smartphone.
With its 150 mm front travel and 140 mm rear travel, the Ducati MIG-S can take on any kind of path and guarantee the rider excellent handling. Such handling is made possible by the quality components of this all-mountain bike: RockShox 35 RC fork, RockShox SuperDeluxe rear shocks, 4-piston Sram Guide T brakes, 12-speed 11-50 SRAM derailleur, 29” front and 27.5” rear THOK e-plus wheels and Pirelli Scorpion Enduro S front and Pirelli Scoprion EMTB-S rear tyres.
In 2022 the range continues its expansion by introducing the first TK-01RR Limited Edition Ducati, an even more exclusive version of the DUCATI e-enduro, with only 169 units available in Europe and in the United States. The Ltd features the same geometrical characteristics of the standard TK-01 RR and also includes quality components that further increase its performance levels.
The Öhlins DH38 dual crown air fork (180 mm travel) and the Öhlins spring shock absorber with TTX technology (170 mm travel) guarantee perfect control over the bike when riding downhill and maintain efficiency when going uphill. The 11-speed Shimano XT electronic rear gearshift always provides a fast and precise shift, while the Magura MT7 brakes with a 220 mm front and 203 mm rear oversized discs were originally made for motorcycles and are among the most powerful on the market.
The Crankbrothers Synthesis wheels with differentiated diameter (29” front and 27.5” rear) with carbon rims with variable thickness, help further improve riding precision, thus guaranteeing excellent performance/robustness ratio. The Fizik saddle, through the Alpaca Carrier system, allows the rider to easily transport all the necessary tools in the event of breakdowns or flat tyres (multi-tools and Co2 cartridge). The TK-01RR Limited Edition also comes with the carbon battery cover and carbon protection for the motor.
The new “Ducati powered by THOK” MIG-S and TK-01RR Ltd can be ordered from the Ducati dealer network or online at www.ebike.ducati.com
