Santa and THOK: Christmas will never be the same again

It’s official: Santa Claus has said goodbye to his reindeer.

After centuries of controversy over the exploitation of the 8 deer, he has finally ceded to pressure from animal rights activists and opted for a more current and truly trendy choice: the electric world of  THOK.

From now on, sleigh pulled by technological e-bikes instead of jingling quadrupeds.

The announcement has divided public opinion and is bound to cause controversy.

Animal lovers are exulting after learning that the reindeer will be relocated to a luxury shelter financed, according to rumours, by a well-known multinational drinks company.

The conservatives were against it too, and they took to the streets shouting ‘Christmas is tradition, give us the reindeer back!’ and also ‘Electric bikes are for people who don’t feel like pedalling, real cyclists have muscle bikes!’

Politicians praise his choice as an example for world leaders: ‘You’ve fed us up with these wars! Buy yourselves a THOK like him! And don’t listen to the conservatives: once you try an electric you never leave it!’
