DUCATI and THOK E-Bikes: the partnership

The partnership between the motorbike manufacturer from Borgo Panigale and THOK E-Bikes was born in 2019 from the two brands’ shared passion for technology, performance and style, with the aim of offering memorable experiences on two wheels to their riders.

In fact, in the history of the Bologna brand, the link with motorised bicycles has existed for a long time: it was DUCATI, indeed, who created the first ‘bike motor’, a small auxiliary motor with roller transmission to be fitted to normal bicycles in order to meet the needs of popular locomotion, in the post-war period.

The combination of THOK’s know-how with the race experience of the Moto GP World Champion brand resulted in the ‘DUCATI powered by THOK’ range of e-bikes, developed for the most demanding and detail-oriented bikers.

The bikes in the range have been created to enhance the performance of every biker on every route, from off-road (All-Mountain, Enduro) to e-road and bikepacking, and are characterised by premium components, innovative technical solutions and design of creativity excellence, born from the collaboration between the DUCATI style centre and Aldo Drudi, the world-famous Italian designer, also known for designing the motorbike helmets of the most important Moto GP riders.

“DUCATI powered by THOK” bikes are produced under licence by THOK E-Bikes and can be ordered from the DUCATI dealer network and online on this site, with the option of choosing (free) delivery to an authorised dealer or directly to your home.
